Clear Blue - Limited Edition

This Limited Edition of 20 prints was captured on one of those rare 100 + degree days in Montana. I spotted this beauty and a baby bald eagle perched on a lookout over Flathead Lake. Since I only had my iPhone with me I jumped in a car drove 20 minutes to grab my DSLR and a telephoto lens hoping the eagle would stay put. Luckily at least the elder waited for me so I could capture this image.

Every moment in time passes instantaneously. This moment started as a photograph. After seeing the fluidity and beauty of the moment I decided that more flow would make the image more inviting so I created this image with the intention of showing the movement and peacefulness that comes from viewing such a scene.

My son said he wanted to see how I get such pretty pictures. I explained to him that for the most part you just need to get up really really early. He began to question his judgment as he sat with me the next morning in the dark before sunrise. As the sun came up and began to hit the Grand Teton range I heard an audible wow leave his lips.
